We are looking for 2 part -time Reception /Administrators to join our friendly, committed and enthusiastic team.  Brighton Homeless Healthcare is a unique General Practice located in the centre of Brighton which cares for a growing number of patients who are either street homeless, vulnerably housed, or travellers.  As well as homelessness, our patients often have a complex mixture of mental illness, addiction problems, and advanced physical problems.

These posts will operate between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday; the specific times to be agreed. There may be opportunities for additional hours on occasion.  We use SystmOne clinical system, and experience in this or similar IT systems is desirable.  Previous experience in primary care reception and administration, healthcare and working with vulnerable and challenging clients would be preferred, although any candidates with a particular interest in working with this patient group would be considered. This is a busy surgery, and candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to perform under pressure and play a positive part in supportive team-work.

The Practice believes strongly in innovative community-based healthcare and delivers specialist clinical services directly to the community so that patients can be treated closer to home. Our services include ophthalmology, ENT and dermatology. We are commissioned predominantly by the NHS and other public sector bodies but have also recently been commissioned by the private sector to provide healthcare services into immigration removal centres.
