Longhill School is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant in the Maths Department to join our supportive and enthusiastic team.

If you are dedicated to helping students develop their full potential; calm, patient and flexible; capable of creative thinking and excited by the prospect of a challenge, we’d love to hear from you. The post involves in-class support, one to one sessions and leading small group work across the 11-16 age range, with students who have fallen behind in their learning.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an interest in Mathematics and hold a minimum qualification of a Grade C in GCSE Maths.

Closing date:Thursday 29 January 2015 (9am).  Interviews: week commencing 9 February 2015.

Hours: 30 hours per week Salary: 20,253 pro rota (NJC Scale 5)
