Brighton & Hove City Council require a junior DBA with some Oracle 11g and SQL Server 2008/2012 experience. The role will involve helping to administer both types of database, supporting design and development activities and some application support.

Skills required: Some DBA experience in at least one of SQL Server 2008/2012 or Oracle 11g, with an interest in both. A strong interest in gaining and improving skills in current and new database technologies Any experience with MySQL would be advantageous Basic Unix skills Good Windows skills Demonstrable customer service skills An understanding of the importance of DBA core activities such as backups, availability and security   1x Permanent Contract - Full Time: 37 hours per week.
