A casual seasonal post is offered to work at Royal Pavilion and Preston Manor Christmas events in costume and character in the role of Elf in Santa's grotto.

The work involves public-facing meet and greet to families and children attending the event in the City's top historic venues. Casual, Part-time, 9.30am to 4.30pm (plus additional time to dress in costume and make-up)      

If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be required to read the following in the character of a meet and greet Elf in Santa's grotto (there is no need to memorise the lines though you may do so if you wish)

"Hello, I'm Santa's Elf and I've been helping him get ready for Christmas. It's very exciting being at the Royal Pavilion today. Do you find it exciting too?
There's a very special person waiting to see you. Would you like to know who it is? Come on then and follow me!"
