An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen to oversee the Sensory Needs Service in East Sussex. We are an innovative service committed to developing creative opportunities for our hearing impaired and visually impaired learning community. The Children's and Families Act provides us with exciting new opportunities to pursue new relationships and ways of working. The Sensory Needs Service is part of Inclusion SEND Provider Services; a large dynamic multi-professional group and you would be part of a newly-created management team. At the heart of our delivery is excellence and the commitment and determination to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children and young people. The service includes four Hearing Support Facilities, co-located in mainstream schools, and a team of visiting teachers/teaching assistants supporting children with hearing and visual impairment in mainstream primary and secondary schools, preschool settings and homes. If you are a self-motivated leader with experience of teaching HI or VI and interested in creative, innovative service development, we would very much like to hear from you.
