This is an exciting opportunity for a manager with a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated approach to lead a team working with adults with Learning Disabilities to develop high quality services.

The post will initially be based in our Learning Disability Day Services in Lewes.

You will promote community participation and involvement to provide the best possible opportunities for individuals to develop skills and enhance their lives. You will provide a safe, flexible and responsive service that is person centred.

The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding Adults at Risk and understand the Care Quality Commission's role and the standards within which they regulate and inspect services. You will possess excellent organisational skills teamed with great leadership qualities. You will be able to manage budgets and have a strong knowledge of partnership working. You must be a great communicator with excellent writing skills and be able to help staff to develop their skills.

The post includes County wide travel therefore applicants will need to demonstrate how they will fulfil the travel requirements for the post.
