Bevendean Primary School is looking for an inspirational teaching assistant who has a passion for working with children in challenging circumstances and an unwavering belief in all they can achieve.  We are looking for someone to work under the guidance of the Reception teacher to support children's learning and further promote partnership with parents.

Essential Skills, Abilities and Experience:- • A genuine love of very young children and an understanding of the importance of early learning • Patience, a sense of humour and a real desire to work in OUR school • Previous experience of working with children. • The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these. • A commitment to working collaboratively and cooperatively with other staff in reception and throughout the school • A commitment to helping to provide the best possible education and care for children whatever their ability or background • A willingness to be flexible in terms of hours and responsibilities • The ability to engage with parents in a way which encourages them to become involved in their child's education • A good understanding of issues relating to child protection Does this sound like you?
