Care for the Carers are seeking to recruit two Adult Carers Support Workers to join our established outreach team providing information and advice to unpaid carers across East Sussex.  The role involves providing one-to-one support to carers as well as joint working with our partners in the NHS, Adult Social Care and the voluntary sector.   The successful applicants will be skilled communicators with excellent IT and organisational skills.  Experience of working in the community will be a distinct advantage, as is experience of advocating on behalf of vulnerable clients.  An understanding of carers' needs and rights is essential.   As you will be required to travel within East Sussex, being a car driver is essential.  These posts are subject to a DBS check.
