Global Payrol Officer

Harvey John is working closely with a growing, entrepreneurial business in central Brighton on sourcing them a capable, hardworking and accurate Payroll Officer.

The role will report directly to the CIPP qualified Payroll Manager and involve assisting with a large, global payroll function. It will be a busy, high volume position which will require a good work ethic, excellent attention to detail and commitment. Duties:

* Processing the full payroll cycle and maintaining the payroll system.
* Updating individual's payroll details and ensuring all changes are process on the payroll system.
* Importing hours from the timesheet system onto the payroll system.
* Responding to queries from employees.
* Complete the final payroll and submitting the BACS report to management.
* Submitting RTI information and making payments to HMRC and pension providers.

Suitable candidates will:

* Have solid payroll experience, ideally including experience of processing large payrolls in a large company but this is flexible.
* Have a full, technical understanding of statutory entitlements and up to date knowledge of payroll legislation.
* Be adaptable and able to pick up new tasks quickly.
* Be a confident, professional communicator who is able to communicate effectively with people at various levels.

Central office location. No parking available with position. Very easy access to local bus and train routes.
