Job Title - German Speaking Operations Manager

Location – Brighton (Frequent overseas travel)

Salary -£19,000

Our client based in Brighton are seeking a German Speaking Operations Manager.

The role will be extremely varied and we are looking for candidates with excellent organisational and planning skills in order to meet the demands of a role involving a mix of travel, office, training and administrative duties. You will use your language skills to liaise with suppliers, be involved with logistical planning, help organise and deliver training and manage teams of Area Managers and reps.

This is an exciting opportunity, possibly suiting a languages graduate or someone looking for the next step in their career within travel.

Person Specification and Skills:

- A flexible and capable individual with solid and significant travel industry knowledge – schools sector preferable

- Proven and demonstrable influencing, negotiation and presentation skills

- Ability to use initiative and think logically and logistically

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to prioritise, organise and plan ahead whilst working in a high pressure environment.

- Ability to remain calm and deliver excellent customer service even under pressure

- Experience of leading, developing and motivating others

- One or more European language - essential

- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Fluent in German
