An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Older Peoples Mental Health Team West for a 6 months fixed term Senior Practitioner position. In this role you will play a key role in the delivery of high quality social care assessment and care management services. You will work with older people with severe and enduring mental health problems, although primarily this will be clients with Dementia.   We are looking for someone who can make a positive difference to our clients and carers. You will need to bring imagination and creativity to professional practice in a team. You will have leadership skills and will also need experience of work related to Safeguarding Adults at Risk. You may already be working as a Senior Practitioner, or at Social Worker grade but have the motivation and ability to step up to the Senior Practitioner role.   You will be joining a service that welcomes new ideas and high professional standards. In return for your commitment, you will receive excellent supervision and training within a supportive work environment.  This post will be based at Highwood in Uckfield Communty Hospital, Uckfield. You will have core working hours but will sometimes need to work flexibly and you will be expected on occasions to travel to bases in Eastbourne and Newhaven.
