Balfour Primary School requires an enthusiastic, committed and qualified 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start at the beginning of November. The successful candidate will be expected to provide 1:1 support for a SEN child with some attachment needs in KS1. In addition, the successful candidate will provide general MDSA duties.

The Teaching Assistants are a busy and productive team within the School who support our enthusiastic students as well as our vibrant teams of teaching staff. Hours: The post holder will be expected to work Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 3:15, term time only. Salary: The combined starting salary is 5,868 which is comprised of: Teaching Assistant: NJC Scale 3 (B&H Level B). The post is term-time only, 10 hours a week, so the actual annual salary range is: 3,814 - 4,082. Pay award pending. MDSA: NJC Scale 1/2. The post is term-time only, 6.25 hours per week, so the actual annual salary range is: 2,054 - 2,229. Pay award pending. Hours per week: 1.15 - 3.15pm including 12 - 1.15pm MDSA duties, Monday to Friday Paid weeks per year: 46.2 / 42.8, inclusive of holiday entitlement Start date:As soon as possible
