We are looking to recruit two assessment assistants to carry out financial assessments in accordance with council policy and calculate charges to service users for their care services. The successful applicants will be required to interpret detailed financial information and confirm charges to service users while also maximising their income through benefit checks.

Applicants must have: Experience in financial administration Experience in welfare benefits Excellent numeracy skills Experience using Word and Excel Excellent letter writing skills and a confident telephone manner Able to manage workload within deadlines Able to work well within a team Able to operate computerised financial systems   2x Permanent contracts - Full Time: 37 hours
