Key Skills and Experience: (Knowledge, Experience, Skills & Abilities)

* Experience of MIS data management, including a working knowledge of generating, processing and presenting reports.
* Knowledge of existing school systems and MIS management
* Experience working in a school environment
* Pro-active attitude focusing on continuous improvements to systems and processes
* Strong technical expertise, including an understanding of SQL / RDBMS (although not necessarily to developer level)
* Experience of migrating data systems would be beneficial
* Strong organisational skills
* Customer service focus



Job role

* Data Management: To take a view of all Trust data (academic, CRM and web systems), how it is optimised and made available for delivery
* Stakeholder Management: Form internal relationships with key departments (marketing, HR, academic, finance)whilst working closely with IT colleagues, to understand the data requirements of these departments
* Reporting: To filter, manage and plan requests for reporting and data to ensure that reporting and data requirements are delivered to key stakeholders
* Data Quality: Take a lead role in improving and maintaining the quality and accuracy of data

* Data Management: data is reviewed, optimized, and available for colleagues to use and analyse
* Stakeholder Management: Strong internal relationships inform the role and the data requirements
* Reporting: data requests are prioritized and delivered in a user-friendly fashion
* Data Quality: the quality of data improves and is maintained
* First point of contact: role becomes a trusted first point of contact for colleagues
