Based in Brighton, this prestigious firm of chartered accountants has an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their highly professional, friendly and expanding team.

Your main duties will include:

  • Managing a mixed portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Obtaining and processing information from clients and sending through the final payroll and pay slips.
  • Notifying the client of PAYE and NIC liability and arranging BACS payments when required.

 

To be successful, you will be:

  • Familiar with IRIS or Sage Payroll or similar software packages
  • Familiar with RTI payroll procedures for weekly and monthly payroll, along with year end procedures
  • Able to calculate and make monthly CIS submissions
  • Able to work unsupervised, using own initiative and to meet deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively, using a professional manner to liaise with clients, with HMRC and with third parties to resolve day to day issues
