Job Title: IT Service Desk Adviser
Location: Brighton
Salary: £15.75 per hour
6 month temporary role
We are looking to recruit for a Service Desk Adviser to join an IT Service Desk Team based in central Brighton on a 6 month contract. This role is to start 1st August.
In this role you will be required to action incidents and service requests from users, performing an initial analysis, and ensuring the appropriate support mechanisms are then invoked.
Please note that out of hours work is required.
Your duties will include:
* Be responsible for providing a broad spectrum of it support and delivering excellent customer service by taking ownership of customer issues.
* Be responsible for responding to and monitoring service desk requests
* Manage and administer file backups and restores and provide additional technical support across core infrastructure
* Actively contribute to the expansion of the it knowledge database
Due to the nature of the IT support, we are looking for you to have the following skills:
* Holder of Microsoft certifications, equivalent qualifications or continuation of Microsoft learning
* Extensive experience of working within a pressurised ITIL v3 service desk environment
* Experience in of administering Active Directory and designing and maintaining standard PC builds
* Knowledge of Windows XP, Win7, Office 2003, 2007 and Server Operating systems
