We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Advisory Teacher for the Visually Impaired to join our Sensory Needs Service. We provide high quality advice, support training and direct teaching for children with visual impairment, their schools and parents. The Service works across Brighton & Hove and supports children throughout the age range, from diagnosis to further education.

If you are:-

• A Qualified VI Teacher
• Committed to providing high quality educational opportunities for children with special needs
• Committed to working in partnership with parents, education professionals and other agencies
• Able to demonstrate an organised and flexible approach to your work
• Committed to promoting inclusion
• Have experience of outreach or consultancy work in schools
