My client is an exciting innovative company who are based on the outskirts of Brighton. They are seeking a hands on, qualified and experienced accountant to join their Management Team in assisting the business with it's exciting and ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will have the desire to be involved in the business as a whole and to put their knowledge and experience to use, ensuring maximum profitability coupled with improved productivity. They will also be:
• Qualified CIMA/ACCA (possibly QBE) with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
• A minimum of 3 years experience of producing Management Accounts
• A minimum of 3 years experience of setting and reporting of budgets/forecasts and variance analysis
• A minimum of 3 years management experience of managing a team of at least 3
• Working knowledge of computerised accounts systems
• Previous experience of working in a corporate customer focused environment
• Have previously lead an annual audit
• Previous customer facing sales or account management experience to corporate customers
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – with expert knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge (not working) of Sun, SAP, Oracle etc. desirable (writing Macros)
