Our vision is to have a reputation for high quality volunteer engagement; working in partnership with volunteers, businesses locally and nationally through Corporate Social Responsibility programmes (CRS), and involving our beneficiaries and key stakeholders to deliver our aims.

Over the past five years the Volunteering Development Team has worked hard to establish processes to engage with volunteers across the full range of our work. We have worked to ensure that we follow best practice in volunteer management, to establish and provide accredited training for our volunteers and the staff managing them, to promote volunteering opportunities and communicate internally and externally the success achieved by our volunteers.
