Our vision is to have a reputation for high quality volunteer engagement.

Over the past five years the Volunteering Development Team has worked hard to establish processes to engage with volunteers across the full range of our work. We have worked to ensure that we follow best practice in volunteer management, to establish and provide accredited training for our volunteers and the staff managing them, to promote volunteering opportunities and communicate internally and externally the successes achieved by our volunteers. In 2013 we received recognition for the fantastic contributions our volunteers are making by receiving the Queens Jubilee Award for Volunteering.
