We run three bars on campus and one in central Brighton and while we're proud of what we've done with them we know they've got even more potential. Thousands of students live on campus near our bars but we don't want people to use them just because they're convenient, we want them to choose us because of the great atmosphere, varied event schedule and because we know what students want. You'll have four bars to play with, a great student staff team and lots of support. We need your ideas, enthusiasm and fresh perspective on what our diverse student body is after and how to deliver it.

We are looking for an experienced manager for our venues at the University of Sussex and at Brighton. This position involve working with our staff to developing our venues, making sure they have exciting programmes to suit the needs of our customers, as well as managing the day-to-day life of the bars, including catering provision. 
 
As our Venues Manager, you will be responsible for the management and development of our fours bars and catering, being supported by the bar staff and the Deputy Venues Manager. You will have to work evenings and weekends at specific periods but not all of the time.
