We are looking for qualified early years practitioners to join our team. Applicants must have experience of working with young children in an early year’s environment; experience of delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); experience of meeting the individual needs of young children and their families; demonstrate a passion and commitment for providing high quality care and learning opportunities; be qualified to a minimum Level 2 in early years and childcare and have excellent communication skills. Post 1: 30hrs per week Mon and weds 1pm-6:15pm, Tues and Thurs 9am-2pm and Friday 8am-6:15pm. This post will be based in our 2-5yrs room. The role involves being a key person for a group of children; building relationships; being an inspiration to the children; supporting attachment building; ensuring the children feel safe; planning activities; maintaining records; carrying out observations; assessing children and supporting growth and development. Post 2: 24hrs per week Mon, Tues, Weds and Fri 9am-1pm and Thurs 9am-5pm. This post will be a support assistant for a child with additional needs. you will support this child within the setting ensuring they have opportunities to take part in all aspects of nursery life, support them through the routines and transitions of the day and meet all of their care needs.
