About the Role

Adult Social Care (ASC), working in partnership with Orbis IT & Digital, are looking to recruit an Assistant Business Analyst to work in the Shared Care Information Systems (SCIS) Development Team, predominantly Liquid Logic (LAS/LCS) and ContrOCC databases.

The work involved will be challenging, diverse and rewarding. It will include business process reengineering, system enhancements, data cleansing and general system problem solving. The post will be part of a team that supports staff across multiple ASC teams so they get the best out of system and to help the teams develop new ways of working as ASC transitions into integration with the NHS.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with a sharp analytical mind who is willing to turn their hand to whatever needs doing to deliver the system changes. Experience of ASC will be an advantage as will knowledge of Liquid Logic products. Your most important attributes will be: your ability to understand and document processes; your analytical skills; your ability to develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders; and a keen interest in creating efficiency through system developments.

Additional Information

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
