About the Role

YMCA DOWNSLINK GROUP

Play Therapist

Brighton & Hove

15 hours per week

Fixed term contract until 31 May 2020

As part of the Brighton & Hove Community Wellbeing Service, we are recruiting a Play Therapist, to provide play therapy interventions with young people aged 4-16 years.

The role represents the operational face of the service in community settings, and the post holder will be required to work with the CWS Project Manager to support children / young people accessing provision within the emotional well-being and mental health pathways.

You will be required to support the signposting/referral of vulnerable young people to other services including CAMHS, AMHS, GP, School Counselling, Social Care, Early Help and MASH where appropriate.

You must have a post graduate level qualification, PTUK Registration and BAPT Membership, and training in play therapy interventions.
