Grace Eyre are entering a period of rapid growth in the West Sussex area and are taking on new work every week. We need committed, enthusiastic support workers to provide our Outreach support service to our customers with learning disabilities.

Would you like to work with people with learning disabilities in their own homes in West Sussex? Do you want to make a difference in peoples' lives? If you are motivated, enthusiastic and wish to provide a high quality service for people with learning disabilities and Autism we would love to hear from you. We are looking for support workers to work in customers' own homes across the Western West Sussex region (including Chichester and Bognor Regis). We welcome applicants with experience in similar roles although experience is not everything: if you are the right person, are caring, committed and enthusiastic, we will provide all the training and development you need to become an excellent support worker. The role involves promoting individuals' independence by enabling them to build on their strengths and achieve their goals, dreams and wishes. You will be supporting individuals in their own home and in the community with all aspects of daily living skills, including personal care, cooking, budgeting and being part of the community. You will be part of a rota system with a variety of support sessions with our customers, ranging from one hour to eight hours per session. Some sessions will be in people's own homes and some will involve taking them out to enjoy the local community and further afield.

A car driver would be desirable though not essential. PAY £8.53 an hour. We have a variety of full-time and part-time permanent contracts available as well as opportunities for relief (bank) staff.

For an informal chat about the role, please contact the Service Manager, Nik Roberts. We would like to hear from experienced support workers as well as those who want to gain experience and training with an established charity in a rewarding and ever-changing sector.

We offer good staff benefits include childcare vouchers, pension, training and development and contractual holiday pay. Grace Eyre has been accredited as an Investors in People employer. To find out more about us and to apply, please visit our website and download the application form
