The Contact Service manages contact between children in the care of the Local Authority and their family members. Community Family Workers are needed to supervise contact, assist with the development of parenting skills and contribute to assessment reports. Experience of direct work with children and their families is essential and you will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to drive. A commitment to working as a part of a team and in partnership with both colleagues and service users is vital.
